Structured Literacy Reading Intervention for All Ages
Unlike learning to speak, reading and writing are not natural skills; they must be explicitly taught. For students with language-based learning differences such as dyslexia, research consistently shows that a Structured Literacy approach benefits not only struggling readers but all learners.
At Literacy for Life, we provide evidence-based, multisensory, diagnostic, and responsive instruction tailored to each student’s needs. Our programs draw on the Orton-Gillingham approach, a proven methodology designed to support individuals who experience challenges with reading, spelling, and writing. This structured, systematic method is particularly effective for students with dyslexia and related learning differences.
We believe that every child can learn to read and that access to high-quality literacy instruction is a fundamental right. Our team includes Spanish-English bilingual Educational Therapists, Wilson Certified Dyslexia Practitioners and Therapists, Wilson Credentialed Trainers, and Certified Academic Language Therapists (CALTs). With extensive expertise in structured literacy, diagnostic assessment, educational psychology, and teaching diverse learners, we identify learning challenges and design individualized instructional plans—ensuring that every child achieves success in literacy and beyond.
Transforming struggles into strengths — one student at a time.
